Ikenoyamaso only has four bedrooms (two Western-style rooms, two Japanese-style and two Western-style rooms).
I'm sure some of you have experienced inconvenience.
Starting in September, we have prepared two beds (single and semi-double) in the 18m2 and 22m2 Japanese-style rooms.

In response to many requests, we have started offering plan that includes transportation JR Hainuzuka Station.

JR Arao Station 12:35 departure, local train bound for Tosu(Arrived at JR Hainuzuka Station at 13:03)
Please use the trains listed above.
The bus will depart from JR Hainuzuka Station at 13:10.(Ride time: about 50 minutes)
Upon arrival Ikenoyamaso, you will check in.Check-out time is 11:00.
We will depart from Ikenoyamaso at 11:30.(Scheduled arrival time JR Hainuzuka Station : 12:30)
*This offer is limited to guests staying Ikenoyamaso on weekdays.*The shuttle operates once a day.

When planning a bus tour Hoshinomura, are you worried about where to have lunch?

Ikenoyamaso accepts lunch reservations from travel agencies (groups).*1-2 large buses and table seating in the banquet hall.

Hoshi no Bunkakan (Star Culture Hall) is a public observatory where you can always see the stars.
This is a rare observatory nationwide where the telescope is open to the public during the day on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and even weekdays.
During the renovation in 2017, Kyushu largest 100cm astronomical telescope was installed.
Kyushu largest telescopes, with a diameter of 100cm and 65cm, are controlled by computers.
It allows you to vividly capture the brilliance of stars in the distant universe.

There are many things you can't do in the city, such as feeding the carp in Aso Aso Pond, collecting insects (stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles in summer) and playing ground golf.
After dinner, we went to Hoshi no Bunkakan (Star Culture Hall) to observe the stars.
The appearance of constellations and planets changes with each season, and the starry sky (universe) is full of mysteries.
When you return to Ikenoyamaso, take a bath and relax.
